Flying Fingers Typing was started in 1988 at its present location by Irene Chance who is still the owner and manager.
Prior to 1988, Irene was the branch manager of PS Secretarial Service in Marina Del Rey, CA. Irene's clients included Suzy Chaffee, 1968 Olympic Freestyle skier; Dana Hobart, President of Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association (LATLA); and A.V. Falcone, a prominent Los Angeles attorney who argued several cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. One of those cases was Silverman v U.S., Fall Term 1989, arguing to reduce the inheritance tax burden on heirs. Irene Chance and Flying Fingers Typing are referenced in the case as the preparer of the documents submitted to the Court.
Prior to PS Secretarial Service, Irene worked for Plan Administration & Design of Los Angeles. She was responsible for maintaining the financial records (bookkeeping) of clients' financial accounts.
